Coast Guard Station Rochester
Coast Guard Station Rochester is a part of the U.S. Coast Guard's Ninth District and is manned year-round to provide assistance, search and rescue, and maritime security on Lake Ontario. Station Rochester is the only designated heavy weather station in Sector Buffalo's area of responsibility (AOR). The AOR boundaries reach from Oak Orchard to Sodus Bay, NY and out to the international border.
