INBOUND PERSONNEL

Welcome to Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City: a great place to work and play.  I hope this will be your most enjoyable tour and that the enclosed materials will be useful during your move.

If you haven’t already, you will soon be assigned a designated sponsor.  If you have questions about the unit or the area that are not answered in the welcome aboard packet, or if you require any additional assistance, please contact your sponsor.  Additional information can be found on our internet website:

The Air Station is located aboard the FAA's Technical Center, Building 350 at the Atlantic City International Airport in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, 08234. Arrival is easy by following signs to the airport, then bearing onto the FAA Technical Center rather than into the terminal where the road splits. The Air Station is within a federally protected area, so please note that you will need your military ID to pass through security.

If you are married, you are required to obtain a Release from Government Housing before renting or buying in the community.  There is no government or leased housing for single personnel, therefore a Release from Government Housing in not necessary.  If you are interested in Government Housing, please complete an application for housing when you arrive.  I urge you to discuss your housing options or concerns with the Housing Officer, Ms. Mindy Badillo, who is available Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1530 at (609) 677-2174.  The housing decisions you make now may very well affect you for your entire tour. To check on housing, go to the AHRN (Automated Housing Referral Network) site today

I assure you that your skills will be put to good use at Air Station Atlantic City, one of the busiest Air Stations in the Coast Guard.  I wish you a safe and enjoyable trip and look forward to meeting you personally upon your arrival.  Please don't hesitate to call if you need assistance or additional information!
